Notes regarding activities:
I see these cards being beneficial to high students in grade 2 to challenge or extend learning, as an introduction or review to 3rd graders, prior to ISTEP in the spring, and as remediation to 4th grade students who are struggling with various concepts.
The activities in these folders are set up in two different ways, depending on how best it will suit you to use them in your classroom.
- Math cards by Specific Topic – the benefit to these are you could use only those that are necessary for each student. There are also a few more "math cards" than those activities presented on the worksheet format.
- Math Basics Mixed Worksheet – There are 32 worksheets (with the same activities as the cards). The worksheets have mixed topics – more as introduction or review of things. (I would use these once a week-not for a grade-with like ability students, and then go over them together.) You´ll notice the cards have Sudoku puzzles on some for students who finish early.
