- School box, preferably plastic (big enough to hold the next 5 items)
- Crayons (16 or 24 count)
- 4 sharpened pencils
- 1---box of dry erase markers for classroom use
- 2---glue sticks (replacement sticks will be needed during the year – 1 stick usually lasts about 1 month)
- scissors (Fiskars brand or similar-–work best for first graders)
- 2---folders with pockets and center brads
- 2---1/2” or 1” three ring binders (no trapper keepers, please)
- backpack or book bag
- a pair of gym shoes—these should be clean and left at school to be used during P.E. classes
- 1-2 boxes of Kleenex for classroom use.
Optional items: washable markers (10 count), and colored pencils (12 count)
Please label all items with your child’s name, if possible.
We have reserved tickets to see the live performance: If You Give a Pig a Pancake at the Elco in Elkhart on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. We need to have our money for the tickets by Friday, Sept. 5th. We hope by telling you this early that you can plan accordingly. Reserving our tickets early helped us get a discount on each ticket. The cost will be $6.50.
