This is a location change from our usual awards night plan. Join us as we celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our spring athletes!

Coaches and athletes are requested to dress nicely.
Last night, the Northridge HS Athletic Department hosted our annual All-Coaches Meeting, which included head and assistant coaches at NHS. The department supplied pizza and water to begin our social hour in the Large Group Room of the Middlebury Activity Center before moving to the Black Box Theatre for the informational portion of the night.
Northridge AD Ryan Bales touched on various topics with our coaches, which included reflection on the 24-25 season, points of emphasis for the 25-26 school year, important reminders, and new IHSAA updates. He also touched on the importance of "why" we coach and lead young men and women.
NHS Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Tony Rouse, also spoke briefly with our coaches and emphasized to them the importance of getting our athletes in the weight room. It is our coaches' job to lay the foundation of team culture and skill in their respective sport, but the weight room can help our programs get to the next level.
The evening finished with guest speaker, Chad Briscoe, who has been the Athletic Director at Grace College for the past 17 years. He focused his talk on "Building Relationships With Coaches And Student-Athletes." He centered his talk on being there for each other and finding ways to connect with and support coaches from other coaching staffs and programs to build school spirit and camaraderie. Chad also touched on our impact as leaders with student-athletes and maximizing the value of each player on our roster while we have them, whether they are the star of the team or someone who does not play a lot. It was a great message to finish the night.
