As many of you are aware, some of our southern neighbors have been devastated by Hurricane Helene - particularly North Carolina. Beginning Friday, several of our school groups will be working together to organize a supply drive for items these people are in desperate need of. In partnership with Eby Ford of Goshen, we will be collecting specific items to send to assist the victims of the hurricane. There are two pilots from Goshen who have volunteered to fly these supplies to NC as they are collected.
This Friday, tomorrow, is homecoming for the football team. Come support the Raider football team, marching band, student body and our efforts for North Carolina. We will have vans parked close to the entrance of the field for you to drop off any donations. We will also be accepting monetary donations to purchase additional supplies. The collection will continue through the next couple weeks. You may drop off donations in the front office of the high school.
Needed items include baby needs, powdered sports drink mixes, bug spray, cleaning supplies (no chemicals), hand sanitizer, personal hygiene products, feminine hygiene products, socks, and work gloves. No water please as the weight is an issue for flying.
Please join our community effort to show our support for the victims of Hurricane Helene.

Northridge High School is hosting a College and Career Fair on Friday, September 27 from 10:30 am - Noon. All NHS students will attend. Providing a College and Career Fair for our students fulfills a new state law and provides a great opportunity for students to explore options for after high school.
Prior to the event, students will register for a barcode at www.StriveFair.com. During the fair, students can have their barcode scanned by the college reps. The colleges will use the information to follow-up with students about their schools. The day after the fair, students will receive a report with information on the colleges with whom they scanned. This system replaces paper info cards that are typically completed when students visit a table at the fair. Businesses will have sign-up sheets for small group meetings that will be held over the next few months for interested students.
Here is a list of the Colleges and Businesses attending the Northridge College and Career Fair.
While all students should attend the fair, families may opt out of the StriveScan service by completing this google form.
It's College Go Week. Students join us in these fun spirit days.

HOMECOMING UPDATE! More information will be sent to student emails tomorrow.
