Some information was incorrect on individual sports pages. Parent meeting for the following sports will be this Thursday, 8/8 at 6 p.m. in the NMS Auditorium: Football, Boys & Girls Soccer and Volleyball. Individual breakout sessions will happen after the general meeting.
Volleyball tryouts today, girls should arrive at 3:00 and enter Door 1. Please have your guardian stay until we can verify that all information on Final Forms is correct. Athletes should bring 2 bottles of water Or a large water jug as it will be very hot in the field house.
We currently do not have an 8th Grade JV Volleyball Coach or Boys JV Soccer Coach and are looking for someone to fill these roles. At this time we will consider any parent who is willing. If no one fills these roles by the August 7th, we may have to cancel the JV seasons and make cuts to have only a varsity team. Please contact Mr. Miller as soon as possible at millers4@mcsin-k12.org for more information on becoming the 8th Grade JV Volleyball Coach or Boys JV Soccer Coach.
Please remember to get physicals uploaded to Final Forms. All forms must be signed and physicals approved before an athlete may participate in tryouts/practice. Football & Volleyball start Monday at 3:30! Girls Soccer starts at 4 p.m. and Boys Soccer at 6 p.m. on Monday!
Starting Monday 8-5-2024, Heritage Drive (along soccer fields) will be closed to through traffic until a water line installation is complete
NMS Football Parents,
We will have our middle school equipment pick up only on Thursday from 4-6 p.m. Friday's session is canceled.
Coach Clabaugh will be at the school at 2 p.m. Monday and Tuesday (8/5 & 8/6) for additional fitting times along with staying after practices.

Open Soccer Field time starts tomorrow. Event Link has it listed backwards. Girls are from 4 p.m. to 5:30, boys from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays until school starts (none during Fair week).

My apologies for missing two student-athletes that earned a Six-Sport Plaque by participating in six sports their 7th and 8th grade year. Thomas Nusbaum and Jack Smith should have been honored this morning along with the other 6 sport athletes.
