Jefferson's School Picture Day is this Thursday, August 31. Pictures will be taken first thing in the morning. If your student is absent, there will be another opportunity to have their picture taken in October.
Team Specials! We have an extra special team that works with your children everyday. Mrs. Schrock, Mrs. Voelkel, Mr. Conley, Mr. Stout, Mrs. Crawford, and Mrs. Love. This team is known for their smiles and they don't only teach their special with a passion but help out anywhere they are able. Jefferson is lucky to have them!!
Jefferson Party on the Playground: We love this night where all our Tigers get together. Thank you to the PTO, Jazzy Jumpers, DonutNV, Saco los Taco, Smothered and Covered Fries and More, and all who helped set up and clean up.
Jefferson Head Start currently has openings for 3, 4 and young 5 year olds. Contact the main Head Start Office (574/393-5864) for more information. Children do not need to be potty trained.
Plan to attend the PTO "Party on the Playground" on Friday, August 18 from 5:00-8:00pm. Come enjoy the food trucks, bounce houses and playground. There will also be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going for new gym equipment. This is a community event and all are welcome to attend.

The end of another great year at Jefferson! It’s always hard to walk into a school that was once filled with children’s smiles and laughter. We have an empty nest feeling after moving our third grader on to new adventures. As we close down one year, we begin thinking about a new year with some new Tigers cubs we want to thank all of our families for a great year and wish you a summer full of the smiles and laughter that we are missing. Take care of them and we will look forward to seeing them in August with summer stories to tell.
We had a visit from our graduating Jefferson Tigers! . Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. Wishing them the best always!
