A few future educators are taking “principles of teaching” at Northridge High School and helping at Orchard View Elementary . It is wonderful having a program like this where our high school students interact with elementary students and reaffirm their desire to pursue education as a career.

The colder weather and snow requires a lot more layers in order to get ready for recess. Bundle up!!

Good morning from Heritage Intermediate. We are excited to have our students back after Thanksgiving!

We are very thankful for our community. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!

Please remember that there is no school the rest of this week. We will see students again on Monday, December 2nd!

Northridge High School students and teachers work together on a daily basis to ensure mastery of learning! Happy Monday!

Northridge Middle School had its annual ability day last week. This is a great event where students are placed in situations where they learn what it is like to have challenges they have to overcome. This is a wonderful day and a learning experience for students!

The 2025-2026 school year calendar was approved at the school board meeting Tuesday night. This calendar was created and based upon the current school year calendar, which has had a very positive response. Please use this calendar to plan ahead as a family.

The school board had the privilege of hearing from Jefferson Elementary School during the board meeting last evening. Students and staff shared how they are learning to enhance problem-solving stamina by participating in productive struggle activities. These activities and the response of the students help develop grit in school and at home. Way to go JES!

Due to pockets of dense fog throughout the school district, MCS will operate on a 2-hour delay today, Monday, November 18.
