Huge congratulations to Patty Prendergast and Terry Gagich, who were honored during the Middlebury Minute at last night's school board meeting!
Over the past year, Patty and Terry have completed a rigorous mentorship program to prepare for the nationally recognized CETL (Certified Education Technology Leader) certification. Their journey included monthly mentor meetings, collaborative study sessions with tech staff across the state, and several in-person workshops.
The culmination of all this hard work? They both passed the difficult CETL exam with flying colors! ​
Earning this certification proves that Terry and Patty have mastered the many complex facets required of a Chief Technology Officer. To put this amazing achievement into perspective: there are only 85 people in the entire state of Indiana who hold a CETL certification! ​
We were also thrilled to welcome board members from the IN CTO Council (Indiana Chief Technology Officer Council) to last night's meeting to officially present Patty and Terry with commemorative frames to display their certificates. ​
