LightSpeed Parent Portal

There is an invitation link located at the bottom of your weekly Parent Report Email. Alternatively, you can click the Lightspeed Parent Portal button at the top of this page to begin.

Depending on when you log-in, the screen may look overwhelming at first! You will have a sidebar with options to choose from: web activity, web rules, and schedules.

The web activity tab gives you lots of options and control. You can:

• Pause internet useage for a specified time
• See what sites have been visited and at what time
• Change students if applicable
• Search for specific website visits
• Select which day you’d like to see
• Easily see if your child is visiting approved sites

In the web rules tab, you can quickly toggle pre-sets on and off that have been set by Lightspeed Parent Portal or you can create your own custom block list.

If you have more than one child, they each have their own set of web rules that you can control.

The schedules tab allows you to create set-and-forget options for internet access. You can create multiple schedules and toggle which ones are active.

Please note: scheduling is only available outside of school hours and on weekends.

There is a short delay, usually between 5 – 15 minutes.

You will be unable to pause from 7:00AM – 4:00PM during the week.

Any other time, including weekends, pausing is available.

When you toggle “pause internet”, your child’s screen will look like this.

Please note: When you unpause, they may need to refresh the page or revisit the site.

At this time, we’re unable to offer this feature. If your child is not at school as a result of: vacations, holidays, sickness, etc, the 7:00AM – 4:00PM rule remains in effect during the week.

Each child can have up to two parent/guardians active. These parameters are set by Lightspeed.

You can go to the Parent Portal Forgot Password page and enter your email. If you have an account, you should receive an email shortly after with more information on how to reset your password.

If your child is not showing up for you, please call that child’s school directly and confirm they have the right email address on file for you.
