Simple Troubleshooting
Try Update the Operating System
- Click bottom-right of your task-bar where you would normally sign-out
- Click the settings gear.
- At the bottom of the left-hand menu choose "About Chrome OS"
- Choose "check for updates."
Try Restarting the Chromebook
- Hold the Refresh key and tap the Power key
Try Clearing the Cache/Cookies
- Open Chrome.
- At the top-right, click the 3 dots.
- Click Delete Browsing Data.
- At the top -time range- select All time.
- Next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files', tick the boxes.
- Click Delete data.
Try Removing Yourself as a User
- Sign out of your Chromebook.
- Tap the dropdown next to your name.
- Click "Remove account". The button will turn red, click "Remove account" again to confirm.
- On the lower left of the screen, tap "Add Person".
- Sign in with your MCS Google Account by using your eMail and password.
Deleting Bookmarks
- Richt click (two finger tap the touchpad) the bookmark you want to delete.
- Select delete from the drop down menu.
Organize Your Google Drive with Folders
- Open Drive
- Tap New > New Folder
- Name the folder
- Drag items into the folder.
- Hold Ctrl and click on multiple files to select. Then drag to folder.

How to sign-in (student)
- The first step is to go to app.seesaw.me and click I'm a Student
- Click Sign In with Google.
- Choose your child's login information. If the student's MCS account is not listed, select "use another account" and enter his/her full email (username@student.mcsin-k12.org) and password.
- Click the Activities Light bulb to find assignments.
- Students can switch between their classes (art, music, PE) by clicking on the tiny icons on the left sidebar.

How to access PowerSchool Parent
- The first step is to go to the Middlebury Community Schools Home Page and click Links
- Click Parents
- Click PowerSchool Parent
- Scroll down and click ACCESS POWERSCHOOL PARENT
- Enter your Username and Password
**If you do not already have a username and password, click on Create Account and provide the information needed.
- Click Sign In
- Here are your child's grades and attendance.
**If you have multiple children you can switch to a different child by clicking their name in the upper left hand corner of this screen.

All students K-12 will need to log in to Schoology to complete their eLearning.
To log in to Schoology, please return to the home screen and select the Schoology button. If prompted, please select "sign-in with Google".

- When finished recording, adjust sharing permissions and edit the recording if needed.
